Edgar è nato nel 1968 a New York, USA, nel quartiere del Bronx. Ha una lunga carriera cinematografica e televisiva alle spalle: ha partecipato a film come 'The Usual Suspects', 'Natural Born Killers', 'Beverly Hills Cop III', 'Fathers' Day', 'Suicide Kings', Ed Wood', '3000 Miles to Graceland', 'The Hot Chick', 'The Animal' e 'Spider-Man 2'. In televisione ha partecipato a serie quali 'The Sopranos', dove ha interpretato l'agente federale Skip Lipari, 'NYPD Blue', 'EZ Streets', 'Oliver Beene' e 'CSI'.Oltre che attore, è anche autore e regista. Tra i suoi interessi, molti sport come football, basketball e baseball, oltre alla cucina. Vive a Los Angeles.
